Quick facts about The Integrity Project:

The Integrity Project is currently being used through Court systems in many ways for many offences.

• Pre trial diversion programs and/or Dead Docket cases, Underage possession of alcohol, first or second offence
• Shoplifting
• Possession of marijuana less than an ounce (no addiction or intent to distribute indicated)
• Affray
• Other cases where you would like to say:
• "You're a nice person, but what were you thinking?"
• "You are probably addicted, but since you won't admit it...."
• "I am going to give you a second chance,but I am serious."

It is also used as a corrective measure through probation, with or without other programs. To date, the Integrity Project has been the sentencing option for over 20 diffrent misdemeanor offences in four court systems; too many to list individually here.

If students are not willing to change, or to accept responsibility for thier actions, they may need to be "humbled" before The Integrity Project will be effective. This course is an opportunity for betterment, not punishment for wrong.

There is no cost to the court system. Each student pays the $300 tuition individually. Sometimes, the judge will reduce the fines to help offset the cost of the program. In the rare cases of extreme financial difficulty, we will modify the tuition upon written request from the supervising authority (usually probation or solicitor's office).
